Presenting young tender buds of aspiring dancers - 6 - 16 years old - in a full repertoire of Odissi, but with the focus on giving them a first hand experience of performing on stage, Tejapuri Children of Light 2 repeats the Odissi department's 2006 success of stimulating the love for dance in the young. Alongside the very first joy of performing in front of an audience, these students also acquire the qualities of discipline, punctuality and teamwork so important in the learning process and career of a performing artist.

The programme showcases a repertoire that displays the skills and abilities of students of different levels.
