1st December 2008 - Prem Joshua & Band at PJCC

With the overall construction works of the new TFA building completed in July, and while awaiting the Certificate of Fitness, we eagerly make the final step to equip and furbish the music and dance studios for our impending move. Prem Joshua and Band have very lovingly offered to perform at the Dewan Serbaguna, PJ Civic Centre to help us raise the necessary funds.

Hailing from Italy, but with his heart in India, multi-instrumentalist and composer, Prem Joshua creates and explores forever new syntheses in sound, transporting the listener as he does beyond the borders of both East and West. He draws inspiration from the deep well of the ancient music traditions of the Indian subcontinent, but remains in constant touch with the pulse of contemporary Western music scene. It is his awesome talent for fusion that distinguishes his masterful blend of Indian classical, jazz, funk, ethno and trance music, making it utterly unique and absolutely appealing. Join us for an absolutely magical evening of music and vegetarian cuisine, and be a part of our efforts to make The Temple of Fine Arts a sanctuary for the arts.
