5th July 2008 - Kshetra Margam: The Path of the Dance Divine

Solo Bharatanatyam recital by dancer choreographer Shankar Kandasamy, paying tribute to the doyenne of Bharatanatyam Rukmini Devi Arundale. Shankar will present works from the traditional repertoire of Kalakshetra, in an attempt to experience for himself the style and subtlety which distinguish dancers from this famed institution from any other.
