24th May Citrawarna 2008

 

Themed as "The Celebration of the Flora and Fauna of Malaysia", this year's Citrawarna featured the wonderful colours of Malaysian nature, with the Indian segment depicting elephants and peacocks as well as popular Bollywood hits performed by the Temple of Fine Arts dancers. A hundred dancers, from the youngest to the most experienced, and supported by their teachers and costume mistresses and make up stylists put up an energy packed performance. The video clip shows the happiness and sense of collective endeavour that pervaded the entire project. The mega event took place on Saturday 24th May at the Palace of Justice in Putrajaya.
